Apple Boy, who admires cool heroes, lives on the beautiful floating island of Apple Land, growing apples together with everyone. One day, all the apples on Apple Land are turned into poisoned apples. To restore his precious homeland, Apple Boy sets out to find the "magic seed" that can grow anywhere and bear the world's largest apple. Anpanman and his friends, who meet Apple Boy, join the search for the "magic seed." However, it proves difficult to find. Anpanman and the others take Apple Boy to Apple Village. There, Majolā appears, plotting to turn all the apples in the world into poisoned apples and plunge everything into darkness, and begins transforming the apples of Apple Village into poisoned apples one by one. Witnessing Anpanman's unwavering determination, Apple Boy comes to realize "what a true hero really is."
