变形金刚：重生

Originally broadcast in the United States from November 9 to November 11, 1987, this three-episode series serves as a direct continuation of the American G1 Season 3. Similar to the beginning of the G1 era, it does not carry a specific subtitle. The conclusion of "The Rebirth" marked the official end of the Transformers animated series in North America. Subsequent product promotion was taken over by related comics and television commercials. During the same period in Japan, "The Rebirth" was not imported. Instead, "Headmasters" was being broadcast on television. Although the two series shared the same toy designs, their storylines, character personalities, and even animated character portrayals were completely different. This work remained unreleased in Japan for a long time. In 1996, when Takara released the LD box set of "The☆Headmasters," it was included as a bonus feature, complete with a newly produced Japanese dub for the occasion.
