The second theatrical film of "Akuma-kun." This entertainment piece is notable for its fast-paced story development and dynamic direction. The antagonist, the Black Demon/Kubiningyō, was also a highly popular character in the previously produced live-action version. The ending, which uses the TV series insert song "OH YES!", combined with comical visuals, is exceptionally well-crafted.
Midnight. Discarded toys, given life by a mysterious Western doll, begin a grand procession, leading children away. Although Akuma-kun rushes to the scene with Mephisto II and Hundred Eyes, he is hindered by a wooden horse he cherished as an infant, allowing the Western doll to abduct the children. Through the pursuit of the Demon Eye, they discover the destination is a different dimensional space. Akuma-kun, accompanied by the Twelve Apostles, heads for the rescue and arrives at a strange, amusement park-like place. The toys, interrupting their play with the children, launch a simultaneous attack. The Twelve Apostles struggle under the fierce assault. When Yūko illuminates the Western doll with the Demon-Reflecting Mirror, its hidden true form is revealed. It was the terrifying Black Demon, Kubiningyō, in disguise! Kubiningyō had been manipulating the toys to lure the children, planning to suck their life force and plunge the world into darkness!
