After the tournament concludes, the protagonist Katsuma Kirifuda encounters a girl named Luna Kamizuki and duels her. The next day, Katsuma duels her brother Mikado Kamizuki but is defeated by the God Emperor, who steals his "Shinra Drag Moon." Mikado is plotting revenge against all duelists, and Katsuma and his friends rise to confront him in order to thwart his ambitions.
