"Anima" is a dance animation work themed around expressing life.
During my graduate school years, I created this piece to solidify my resolve to live as an artist.
I challenged myself to express life solely through the fundamental act of painting—"drawing people."
Over two years, while balancing my studies and work, I devoted every spare moment to sketching, completing around 1,500 drawings with unwavering focus.
After finishing, I was utterly exhausted, requiring a long rest—a state reflected in the composition of "Anima."
Around the same time, I also created "To the Sky." These two works, depicting the light and shadow of life, are like twin pieces—each incomplete without the other.
These two works mark my starting point and origin.
I am currently conceptualizing a new work, "LIFE," which can be seen as a sequel.
I envision creating it gradually, over the long course of my life.
