At the "KOHATA Animation Studio," where dreams are woven into animation, Baja spends joyful days with his friend Gaa-chan. One day, Baja overhears Kanako and others happily talking about the "sea." "I wish we could go there someday too... the sea." That night, Coco uses magic to show Baja the sea. Baja is moved by the blue sea teeming with diverse life. However, Gee shows Baja a raging, dark sea. After seeing it, Baja becomes utterly terrified of the sea. "See through Coco's lies... Was the sea really blue?" Furthermore, Gee tries to show Baja the truth by plunging Gaa-chan into the pitch-black sea! Baja is the only one who can find Gaa-chan, swept away by the waves! "The sea is scary, but I have to go." Can Baja find Gaa-chan in the vast, endless sea? An adventure unknown to anyone begins in the midnight studio!
