In the demon realm, the "Possessing Spirits" seek to create gateways to the mortal world, attacking the guardians who seal the demon realm. One of these guardians, Kigami Genshou, entrusts the seal to his daughter Kaede before sacrificing his own life to confront the "Possessing Spirits" closing in on her. Kaede encounters Futaba, one of the Ten Shadow Generals, and throws herself into the battle against the demonic creatures.
