A world where yokai and humans coexist and can love each other. Human lifespans are limited. Even when the humans they love die, yokai continue to live on without their lives ending. Though humans can reincarnate and be reborn, they lose all memories of their past lives. Against this backdrop, a certain "service" has become widespread among yokai: The "Matchmaking Fox Spirit"—a being capable of reviving the memories of a past lover within a reincarnated human. Yokai who continue to love someone even after that person’s death purchase the "service" sold by the Matchmaking Fox Spirit, seeking to once again share days of love with their reincarnated former lover. This is the story of a fox spirit who works as such a matchmaker, weaving tales of fate and connection.
