Two hundred years after the war with M.M.E., humanity was living in relative peace, despite some tensions such as the declaration of war by the "Yuman." The day after the completion of a network connecting all of humanity, cities plunged into chaos due to a program displaying "G.O.R.N." Amidst this, five individuals gathered by a mysterious figure named "Cathy" escaped the city aboard an evacuation spaceship that had become part of the city. Nearly all of humanity was annihilated by Gorn, who had been awaiting an opportunity to revive. The five aboard the spaceship, plus one rescued individual, were bewildered as the ship advanced toward an unknown destination. Pursuers from Gorn also closed in on the spaceship. After various twists and turns, they arrived at their destination, Jupiter. There, they transferred to an interstellar spacecraft and set off for a new frontier: the Pleiades star cluster.
