A 25-minute color anime based on an original work by Ryuichi Yokoyama, creator of "Fuku-chan," and produced by his own animation studio, Tatami Pro.
The Wind God drops a wind bag onto the earth’s surface. From the hole created by the falling bag, a cute green baby ghost is born. The ghost clings to the back of an elderly blacksmith passing by. Though troubled by the ghost that refuses to leave, the blacksmith gradually grows fond of this baby ghost. However, a group of people who make a living from ghost shows appear. They attempt to forcefully take the baby ghost away, but...
Yokoyama used a corner of his home as an animation studio. This Tatami Pro would later be reorganized into Otogi Pro, which left its mark on the postwar anime industry. This work was not released to the general public; it was screened only once at a special showing at the Bungeishunju Hall, attended by cultural figures such as Jiro Osaragi, Shohei Ooka, Yukio Mishima, Hideo Kobayashi, Tatsuo Nagai, and actress Hideko Takamine, as well as other prominent actors and intellectuals.
