Once upon a time, in a land between the East and the West, there flourished a prosperous kingdom. At the heart of its grand capital stood a beautiful palace, where crowds of citizens gathered in the great hall to present gifts to the king. Yet just a step outside the palace walls, poor people struggled to make ends meet in their daily lives. Aladdin was one of them. One day, a sorcerer who had come to the capital told Aladdin, "I will give you great wealth if you become my servant," and led him to a massive rock. When the sorcerer chanted a spell, the rock instantly split in two, revealing an entrance. Handed a ring and ordered to retrieve an old, dusty lamp from inside the rock, Aladdin found himself trapped within. As Aladdin clasped his hands together in prayer, white smoke rose, and a demon emerged from the lamp. "Master, what is your wish?" This demon was the servant of the ring's owner. With the demon's power, Aladdin safely escaped from the underground and was able to marry the princess, whose beauty had captured his heart at first sight. One day, that sorcerer, hearing rumors of Aladdin, returned to the capital. The sorcerer tricked the princess and stole the magic lamp. Stripped of both his palace and the princess, Aladdin confronted the sorcerer using the ring's magical power, but he could not overcome the lamp's magic and fell into a valley abyss. There, a great bird appeared, allowing Aladdin to escape the valley and reclaim both the magic lamp and the princess. Safely back at the palace, Aladdin and the princess were greeted by the joyous cheers of their people, who welcomed them with all their hearts.
