On a bright and sunny day, a beautiful girl wearing an eye patch over her left eye is approached by a boy. The girl coldly tells him a terrifying legend about doppelgangers, and soon enough, another girl with an identical appearance and the same eye patch walks over, frightening the boy into fleeing. The newcomer turns out to be Misaki Mei, while the girl who played the prank is her twin sister, Misaki Misaki, from whom she has been separated since childhood. The two sisters, with their contrasting personalities, spend the day together, sharing their most honest feelings about their origins and blood ties. What worries Mei is that her left eye faintly perceives an ominous sign about to befall Misaki. On their way to the amusement park the next day, she is determined to protect Misaki no matter what. A joyful yet fleeting day for the two sisters...
