A 15-minute 3D stereoscopic film based on the original work by Leiji Matsumoto and directed by Mamoru Hosoda. This marks the second time a Matsumoto work has been adapted into 3D. The production period was less than a year, with script and storyboarding from April to May 1999, and cut creation and modeling from June 1999 to January 2000. On February 24, a completion preview screening was held starting at Marunouchi Toei, followed by screenings in Fukuoka and Osaka.
