The sixth installment of the advance screenings for "Space Battleship Yamato 2199"—a reimagining of the classic SF anime "Space Battleship Yamato" with a new staff and cast—released ahead of its terrestrial broadcast and DVD/Blu-ray sales. As the Yamato finally reaches the Large Magellanic Galaxy, Gamiras' Leader Dessler orders General Domel once again to intercept the Yamato. Confronted by Domel's fleet in the treacherous cosmic region known as the "Seven-Color Star Cluster," the Yamato is forced into a difficult battle. To overcome this crisis, Captain Okita devises a certain strategy. This screening features four episodes from the 26-episode TV series: Episode 19 "They Have Come," Episode 20 "Under the Seven-Colored Sun," Episode 21 "Planet of the 17th Prison Camp," and Episode 22 "The Star to Head For."
