The story is adapted from the recently popular Japanese TRADING card game "Aquarian Age." Over the past 2000 years, humanity has existed amidst endless bloodshed, with wars constantly instigated by those seeking to dominate the world. This work takes the contemporary entertainment industry, which interests us all, as its entry point, following the main character Kamikura Sota as he unveils a hidden war among superpowered beings behind the peaceful lives of ordinary people. The characters in the story are divided into five factions, with the three old major forces being: 1. Arayashiki: They wield the natural power granted by the gods, using their spiritual energy as the medium for battle. 2. WIZ-DOM: They excel in magic inherited from the West, fighting through Tarot card divination. 3. The demi-human "Daguroia." And now, new factions have emerged: the girl-formed E.O.G (alongside male Mind Breakers like the protagonist Sota, who possess the ability to dominate and awaken the girls) and mysterious forces from outer space. Although this work has a relatively complex background setting, it focuses more on depicting the characters' everyday lives. Aspects such as the various inside stories of the entertainment industry, the complex emotions between characters, and Sota's band's pursuit of their dreams all encapsulate the myriad facets of human life. The battles among the major factions also reflect the unease toward war felt by people in real life, as well as a contemplation of human history. It is a work that balances lightheartedness with depth, well worth watching!
