Oishi Renshu was a volleyball prodigy in elementary school, leading her team to a national runner-up finish. However, after entering the renowned volleyball school, Hakumozan Gakuen Junior High, she spent three years on the bench to avoid standing out too much. Upon entering Kuroboku Valley High School, she found new teammates and reignited her passion for volleyball.
