In the solemn and magnificent royal palace, the supreme emperor is sound asleep on his grand imperial bed. The surroundings are silent and still, with no one daring to disturb the emperor's slumber—except for the audacious Jerry and his apprentice, Nibble. They stealthily climb onto a table laden with delicious food and feast heartily. Clumsy Nibble first accidentally suffocates the emperor with a grape, then shatters a water glass, waking the emperor.
