In a small village nestled at the foot of a snowy mountain in the American West, a peaceful and tranquil day unfolds. Inside a house, the male host is meticulously preparing a delicious meal. Little does he know that Jerry the Cowboy, hiding in a mouse hole, is ready to reap the benefits—he lassos the tasty dish right over to himself. Meanwhile, the lazy Tom is only interested in eating and has no intention of chasing the mouse. Witnessing this scene, the host is naturally furious. He warns Tom to catch the troublemaker Jerry immediately, or else he can forget about having dinner. The host even pulls out a pistol and fires several shots, scaring Tom into dashing out of the house.
