Tom and Jerry are sealed inside a can, after which Tom erupts, but the detached can rolls down, and a shark chases him out. Tom stops at the shark's anchor. Meanwhile, Jerry jumps, and Tom opens it, only for Jerry to bite his finger. Jerry tricks Tom into reaching the bottom of another pier, where the shark manages to trap Tom in a very dangerous position, nearly keeping its jaws outside. Jerry takes pity and splashes a whole chili pepper onto the shark.
