The film primarily tells the story of a clever and brave young tiger who, under his master's orders, embarks on a journey to Wind and Thunder Valley to carry out a very important task. While passing through a ferry crossing, the young boatwoman demands that the little tiger correctly identify the authors and origins of all the verses she recites before allowing him aboard. The little tiger answers with ease, ultimately earning the boatwoman's approval and boarding the vessel. During the voyage, they are suddenly ambushed by crocodiles attacking from all directions. The little tiger employs his unique skill, "Catching Wind and Stretching Leg," to successfully repel the crocodiles. However, the intense battle triggers a tsunami, swallowing both the boat and its passengers. Yet, this is only the beginning of the story. When the little tiger opens his eyes, he finds himself on Flying Cloud Island, where he befriends a companion named Yipianyun and officially begins their adventure. Along the way, the little tiger encounters Kongming's Dragon-Locking Formation, the Five-Element Formation left by predecessors, dual-sword demons, and more. Yet, by applying his knowledge of classical literature and his martial prowess, he successfully navigates each peril, drawing ever closer to the location of the mission entrusted by his master...
