The story is adapted from the picture book of the same name by Judith Kerr. It tells the tale of Sophie and her mother having afternoon tea in the kitchen when suddenly the doorbell rings. Sophie opens the door to find a tiger standing outside, and she invites the tiger to join them for afternoon tea.
