In the forest lives a little white tiger and her mother. One day, while playing, the little tiger accidentally falls into a trap set by the poachers Dan Xiao and Xiao Dan. While transporting the tiger cub, the poachers, along with their vehicle, plunge off a cliff. 　　The cub is discovered by tiger trainer Yan Yan and Da Long, who dreams of becoming an animal trainer, and is mistakenly taken in as a kitten. Dan Xiao and Xiao Dan track them down. In the struggle with the poachers, the little tiger ultimately fails to escape their pursuit and becomes separated from Da Long. Meanwhile, Yan Yan learns that the cub is a rare white tiger and discovers the true identities of the Xiao Dan brothers. Concerned for the cub’s safety, they set out to track it down. 　　After being captured, the little tiger meets Ben Ben, an equally unfortunate young wild donkey. While the poachers are lost in their dreams of getting rich, the little tiger and Ben Ben manage to escape and accidentally wander into a circus, where they befriend two tigers from the troupe. Through them, the little tiger learns about the prophecy of the white tiger and the meaning of survival. The little tiger and Ben Ben decide to return to the wild and make their way back to their homeland. Along the journey, they encounter many different friends—some warm-hearted, others hostile—and the brave, resilient little tiger and Ben Ben use their wits to overcome one challenge after another. They help the wolverine Lao Du avoid a trap, rescue a young beaver from a flood, outsmart the Dan Xiao brothers, and save a spirited young camel... 　　After countless hardships and dangers, the adorable and tenacious little tiger finally returns to its homeland.
