This film is a blend of animation and live-action, telling the adventure story of a pair of siblings, Mara (voiced by Anya Taylor-Joy) and Charlie (voiced by Gabriel Bateman). When Charlie unexpectedly disappears into the animated universe of the Playmobil world, Mara must find him and bring him back. Along the way, she meets new companions—food truck driver Del (voiced by Jim Gaffigan), the dashing and handsome agent Rex Dasher (voiced by Daniel Radcliffe), a loyal robot, and a fairy godmother (voiced by Meghan Trainor). Adam Lambert voices the main antagonist, Emperor Maximus.
