This is a small town built from wooden building blocks, with "Wudi" being a homophone for the English word "WOOD" (wood). This is a world for children, filled with their wishes, vibrant colors, and joyful games. We hope the happiness of the children can inspire every visitor who comes to Wudi Town. Despite being a short 3-minute animated film, it required the use of a camera to capture over two thousand photographs, all featuring ordinary, ready-made children's building block toys. Each second of animation took the animators several hours to complete. The 3-minute short film took over half a month to finish. The rapid movement in the film reflects the swift construction of the town, symbolizing the fast-paced development of modern society. In today's world, with rapid economic growth, ever-changing social dynamics, and an accelerated pace of life, acts of kindness and small gestures around us are often overlooked by adults. Through the innocent eyes of children, this film aims to remind everyone that our era still requires countless acts of ordinary love and compassion to support and build a better society. Nominated for the "Golden Dinosaur" International Original Animation Competition.
