Sanmao and his little companions, Xiao Lali and Qiaoqiao, embark on a journey by plane and somehow find themselves stumbling into a fairy-tale kingdom. Just as they are admiring the beautiful desert scenery, Sanmao and the others are attacked by a mysterious little troublemaker—Little Whirlwind. Little Whirlwind is cunning and peculiar, and seems to have it out for Sanmao and his friends, using magic to damage their plane. Forced to make an emergency landing in the desert, Sanmao and the group rescue a magic-obsessed little child named Xiao Guaiguai along the way.
