Huo Huo, newly enrolled at the research institute, is drawn to the Institute of Unknown Animals. However, upon actually entering the institute, she feels that the people there place too much emphasis on the utility of animals. Constantly perplexed by the institute's pragmatic atmosphere, after one particular argument, Huo Huo also comes to acknowledge that research cannot avoid seeking the uses of animals, ultimately reaching a simple reconciliation. This film is the graduation work of students from the 13th Three-School Joint Animation Talent Training Experimental Class of the School of Art and Communication at Beijing Normal University.
