China's first independently produced animated film, "Rainstone," hailed by domestic media as "New Chinese Style Animation," is directed by Lan Tiankefan. The film tells the story of an ordinary high school student, Lu Fan, who accidentally travels to another world. There, he meets the beautiful girl Ye Shan and a powerful mouse named A Di. In order to return to the real world, they battle the hellish army of this world for the special power of the Rainstone, paying a heavy price in the process. Ultimately, when Lu Fan returns to the real world, he gains a new perspective on life.
