At the school where Miss Cud teaches, a music recital is held, and all the children and their parents are welcome to attend. On the day of the recital, parents and children arrive hand in hand, sitting quietly in the classroom. Miss Cud rings the cowbell hanging from her chest, announcing the start of the performances. First up is Porky Pig, who tells a story about a knight. He stumbles through the tale, sweating profusely, and ends up being booed off the stage. Next is the shy kitten, who shares the story of Mary and her little lamb, but her performance also falls flat. After that, twin puppies and a little owl take their turns. Meanwhile, the mischievous kitten Beans causes trouble on the side, disrupting the recital’s schedule... This short marks the debut of many Warner Bros. animation stars and is the 100th work in the Looney Tunes Short series.
