During a gliding race on the peaceful and beautiful planet Terra, a Terrian girl named Mala and her companion Senn suddenly encounter Earth warships. The kind-hearted Terrians believe deities have descended, only to be captured—including Mala’s father. Mala lures a human fighter into a wind tunnel with her glider but ends up rescuing Lieutenant Jim and his robot Giddy out of goodwill. To save her father, Mala helps Jim repair his fighter’s components and follows him and Giddy aboard the human warship. There, she discovers that General Hemmer is determined to occupy Terra, alter its atmosphere, and exterminate all Terrian life. An inevitable battle erupts, and the hidden secrets of Terra’s past are finally revealed… This film won the Best Animated Feature award at the 2008 Ottawa International Animation Festival.
