A theatrical animated short from the "Merrie Melodies" series, nominated for the 1942 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. At a construction site, the foreman conducts the workers like a symphony orchestra, directing them to work in rhythm with the music. The background score is Franz Liszt's "Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2," a piece frequently featured in various cartoons. This short marks the first time director Friz Freleng used "Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2" in his work. Freleng would later employ the piece on multiple occasions, such as in the 1946 short "Rhapsody Rabbit," the 1948 short "Back Alley Oproar," and the animated segment of the 1949 musical film "My Dream Is Yours."
