On a sunny day, Mickey (voiced by Walt Disney) appears at Burbank Station, carrying a suitcase and humming a cheerful tune, with his most loyal dog Pluto following closely behind. This adorable master and servant are ready to take a train to Pomona for a vacation. Shortly after, the train arrives at the station, and Mickey quickly calls Pluto to board. However, as soon as they rush into the carriage, they are thrown out by the rude and aggressive conductor, Pete. It turns out that Pete forbids dogs on the train. With the train about to depart, Mickey has no choice but to stuff Pluto into his suitcase and hop onto the carriage. He warns Pluto to stay quiet and carefully sneak past Pete. Unfortunately, just then, Pete begins checking tickets, and Pluto inevitably gives them away.
