This series continues from Disney's 1999 blockbuster "Tarzan," in which Tarzan reunites with his gorilla family and becomes the successor to the gorilla chieftain Kerchak, taking on the role of the jungle's leader. As the King of the Forest, Tarzan understands that he must not only protect the wildlife but also prevent the "forest" itself from being destroyed by humans. While Tarzan helps Jane understand the so-called "jungle," Jane teaches Tarzan about human duplicity and insists that he eat from a plate. The two of them constantly learn from each other, encountering a series of hilarious incidents on their journey toward "civilization." A host of animals also return, including: a pair of fierce leopards, Nuru and Sheeta; a mischievous baboon, Manu; and the eccentric gorilla brothers, Flynt and Mungo. These animals keep the forest lively, sometimes to the point where even Tarzan can't handle it. "The Legend of Tarzan" inspires young viewers to explore the world around them, experience the joy of discovery, and treat learning as an adventure. It also aims to raise awareness about environmental protection, encouraging them to become good guardians of the Earth.
