Things often begin with a "fleeting delusion." This film combines reality and illusion to satirize the human tendency to vent desires through delusional forms. With an open-ended conclusion, it leaves viewers in suspense, reinforcing the cautionary effect of the satire. Taking the opportunity of my graduation project, I attempted to create my first independently completed animated short film, "BENTO." One person, three months, 5 minutes and 31 seconds, 91 shots, over 7,000 original animation frames, a fusion of two styles... Struggling desperately to tell the story, sacrificing the best possible presentation for the sake of progress, making trade-offs, letting go... From initially just doing the graduation project, enduring the occasional mental torment of not finishing, to later persevering through sheer determination! The film still has many shortcomings, and I hope to improve further in the future.
