It turns out that a tyrannical and arrogant landlord has claimed the land as his own and, without any explanation, killed A Liang's cow, not even sparing the little yellow dog. Heartbroken, A Liang sits alone in the forest, weeping. At that moment, a kind-hearted mountain deity appears and guides him to seek the divine ox at Qingfeng Ridge, an ox capable of plowing a thousand acres in a day.
