Zhang Xin is an unknown and ordinary illustrator. One day, a mysterious ID named "Folk Ghost Arts" contacts him and begins providing him with a large number of extraordinarily brilliant supernatural stories. Using these stories as a blueprint, Zhang Xin starts creating comic stories and gradually becomes a famous cartoonist in the country. However, he never finds out who is behind this mysterious ID or why they chose him. Yet, these mysterious stories gradually begin to spread far and wide.
