This art film is a puppet animation. Chen San is an extremely lazy hunter who often lies under a big tree sleeping. One day, seeing an old hunter going out to hunt, he gets up and follows along. At first, he is very excited, humming a tune as he walks, but soon he becomes as listless as a frostbitten eggplant. In the forest, the old hunter hits every target with precision, while Chen San either fires his gun aimlessly into the sky or hesitates to shoot even when prey is right in front of him.
