In the spring of 1948, during the major counteroffensive of the People's Liberation Army, the enemy entrenched on Horseshoe Island desperately attempted a final struggle. A member of our underground guerrilla force managed to obtain the enemy's military facility map on the island and handed it to Grandpa, an old courier and the grandfather of Xiao Tie, instructing him to deliver it to the PLA. Xiao Tie volunteered to set sail with his grandfather to complete the mission. After the enemy discovered the loss of the military facility map, they immediately intercepted and pursued them. Unfortunately, Grandpa sacrificed his life, and Xiao Tie was captured. However, he cleverly escaped from the clutches of the enemy and delivered the intelligence hidden inside the large oar to the PLA base in time.
