Mother Duck gave birth to quadruplets in one go, but what she truly longed to see were four lively little ducklings. While happily incubating her eggs, she encountered a fox out searching for food. In a panic, she tricked it by saying there were delicious snacks ahead. Seeing the fox believe her and head off to look for the treats, Mother Duck, her own stomach growling with hunger, carefully covered her precious eggs and went to find food as well. However, the fox wasn’t so easily fooled—it had been hiding in the shadows all along. The moment Mother Duck left, it eagerly tried to devour the duck eggs. Just as it was about to strike, the four ducklings hatched from their shells. The fox attempted to pretend to be their mother, but the little ducklings turned out to be much smarter than it had imagined.
