"Push Comes to Shove" is an animated short featuring two identical men performing a series of bizarre actions to each other's faces. For instance, one pulls the other's ears forward, ties them together in front of his face, places a large rock between the tied ears, and then pulls the ears—rock and all—toward the face, creating a large, fluffy hole. Another scenario involves applying grass seeds and water to the other's face, letting grass grow, and then mowing it down with a lawnmower! Or, painting red stitches on a face to make it resemble a baseball before striking it, only for another face to literally emerge from the neck up! As described, it's quite peculiar and highly recommended! I saw this on Volume 5 of The International Tournee of Animation from 1992. Well worth watching if you enjoy the offbeat.
