One evening, a middle-aged couple passed the time watching television. After flipping through channels, they finally settled on a station broadcasting a documentary about the gradual extinction of the Arkelope. Although the number of Arkelopes had already been dwindling due to various natural disasters and calamities, human indifference and short-sightedness pushed the species even closer to the brink of survival. This serious yet entertaining anime uses the wide-reaching medium of television to reveal the tragic reality of endangered species and humanity's complete apathy toward them.
