On a sunny day, the cheerful Mickey (voiced by Walt Disney) arrives in his little carriage at the beautiful Minnie's (voiced by Marcellite Garner) house, ready to pick her up for the barn dance not far away. In her boudoir, Minnie is busy getting dressed, and a glimpse of her charms sends both Mickey and his little horse into raptures. Just then, Pete pulls up in his super luxurious car, also at Minnie's doorstep. Our vain and proud princess naturally chooses to ride in the car, but unfortunately, Pete's vehicle is utterly unreliable—it falls apart before it even starts. Frustrated, Minnie has no choice but to go with Mickey, and the two of them chat and laugh merrily along the way, enjoying their carefree journey. 　　 At the barn, many young men and women are dancing joyfully. Mickey and Minnie join the dance floor, but Mickey's terrible dancing skills cause his partner quite a bit of trouble...
