"Genre" is another excellent animated work by the talented Don Hertzfeldt. In this piece, he draws a rabbit on a sheet of paper and has it perform various film genres. The rabbit successively acts out romance, science fiction, children's films, and even pornography. Gradually, the animator loses his creativity and begins experimenting with combining different genres to create a new type of film, so suddenly, the rabbit starts performing a disaster porn film. 　　Following the already impressive comedic animation "Ah, L’Amour," Hertzfeldt's talent further develops in this comedic animation "Genre." "Genre" is a creative and flawless animation, but its presentation method is clearly not suitable for everyone, as it requires the author to have enough talent to fully realize such a simple idea. Similarly, the author's talent is also evident in the works "Billy's Balloon" and "Rejected," which are truly not to be missed.
