The little reindeer Niko believes his father is a member of Santa Claus's flying team. He often fantasizes about soaring through the skies freely, just like his father, but his attempts repeatedly end in failure, earning him the ridicule of his friends. To fulfill his dream of flying, Niko sneaks off to Antler Mountain, a place haunted by wild wolves, to practice. However, he inadvertently leads a pack of black wolves to the valley where his herd lives. Deeply disheartened, Niko leaves the migrating group alone to search for Santa's home. Meanwhile, the black wolves plot to devour Santa and his flying reindeer, and then go on to eat the children awaiting Christmas gifts. Niko accidentally overhears this plan, and danger swiftly closes in on him...
