The protagonist knight lives a leisurely life of eating, sleeping, taking bounties, and exploring dungeons every day. During a fishing mission, he accidentally encounters the "heaven-sent" mage Mei and, somewhat bewildered, becomes the "Chosen Knight." He then embarks on a journey to defeat Varken and reclaim the Magic Stone. Along the way to saving the world, he meets many companions and gets involved in numerous amusing "odd adventures."
