"Happy Father and Son 2" is created by the film, television, and animation media company under Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation. The second season continues the comedic style of the first, featuring more hilarious and amusing beverage-related incidents, as well as introducing a variety of fresh and adorable beverage characters. Dad Ha and Son Pi will use "super-powered drinks" with magical functions to solve all sorts of troubles in Supermarket City and Fridge Villa. They will also engage in a battle of wits with the Beer Barrel Bandit, while their Tetra Pak friends—along with their parents of diverse personalities, the Bottle Maid, and the Jelly Sprites—come to lend a hand.
