On a bright and sunny day, Long Xing, Aoduo, Fabia, and their friends engage in battles with their respective pet spirits. In the end, Long Xing and his Abu emerge victorious, but just as they are celebrating joyfully, Abu's hands begin to turn transparent. Worried, the friends go to ask the dean of the Magic Academy, Griffin, and learn that Abu might very well leave Long Xing. There is only one way to save Abu—to find the legendary Cute Spirit King.
