This film is a spin-off story from Disney's 2003 "Brother Bear." After Kenai (voiced by Patrick Dempsey) transforms into a bear, he lives with the little bear Koda (voiced by Jeremy Suarez), becoming inseparable brothers. Sometimes, in his dreams, he recalls his past life as a human and his childhood sweetheart, Nita (voiced by Mandy Moore), reminiscing about the time they went to Hakani Falls together, where he gave her his necklace pendant. Many years later, Nita has grown up and is now at the age of marriage. Meanwhile, Kenai has an inseparable companion, Koda, by his side, and they live carefree lives in the forest. Nita is finally about to get married. The wedding is simple yet solemn, but just as the groom is about to take the bride's hand, the spirits intervene, declaring that they cannot marry. The reason is that Nita has been in love with another boy since childhood—the bear-boy Kenai. The spirits give Nita three days to take Kenai to the place where they pledged their love and burn the necklace. Thus, Nita finds Kenai, and together with Koda, the three embark on an extraordinary journey...
