When the Cat's Away

On a sunny day, the black cat Tom steps out of his house, sipping a little wine and carrying a rifle as he heads into the forest to hunt. As soon as he leaves, Mickey and Minnie, along with other little mice, arrive at Tom’s doorstep. Mickey uses a tiny mouse as a key to unlock the door, and they rush inside to play. In the empty, spacious house, the mice have a blast—rocking chairs, chandeliers, staircases, bathtubs, and more become their playground. Mickey and Minnie hop onto the piano and perform several famous tunes, including "Listen to the Mocking Bird," while the little mice dance and sing along to the music, overjoyed. They even turn cheese into sheet music and place it inside the piano for automatic playback. Mickey Mouse even transforms himself into a record player, playing one beautiful melody after another. The little mice spend a delightful day together... This film is the 6th installment in the Mickey Mouse series.
