In a world that has witnessed dusk many times over, the moment of its end gradually approaches. In the distant west of the "Dusk Lands," there lies a country once prosperous through alchemy. To avert the impending "End of Dusk," its people strive to revive the lost art of alchemy. In order to restore the technologies of the previous era, the research city of "Central" gathers alchemists to study how to halt the dusk. The protagonists are a young man named Logy, who studies alchemy in Central, and a girl named Ayesha, who lives in a border town. The tale of these two youths, woven together by alchemy, is about to unfold.
