爷爷在天上

This film is set in a small town in northern China in the early 1980s. A four-year-old granddaughter, who shared a deep bond with her grandfather, firmly believes he is still alive after his passing. Facing the spaces where she once played games with her grandfather, she fills them with memories and imagination, persistently proving his existence in her own way and resisting the reality of his death. 　　 The film won the Best Original Music Award and the Special Jury Award at the 11th Beijing Film Academy Animation Academy Awards, as well as the Best Animated Director Award at the 19th Beijing College Student Film Festival.
